Mike, I saw your show on PBS and I was thrilled. the music was great as usual and it was rewarding to listen to it when I wasn't also dancing. I just love Latin music and I love the music you play. I really enjoyed learning about the backgrounds of your musicians. They are so accomplished! You must be very happy to have your very talented son playing with you also. Looking forward to hearing you and dancing to your great sounds Joanne

My husband and I also caught your program on PBS last night. Awesome! I am a Zumba instructor (it's Latin fitness dancing) and when you played Aguanile I had to get up and do my routine!! Will check your calendar for appearances. We definitely want to see you in person.

We caught your showing on Bactstage Pass by chance, and we were ecstatic, we are "Boricuas", living here for the past 3 years going on 4, and we absolutely loved your orchestra. You made us get up and dance!! We hope to be able to dance to your music "live". Please place us on your mailing list, drsponscolon@gmail.com

Wish I was enjoying your music at the Christian Academy tonight. Your great music almost makes me want to leave my 8 and 5 year old at home alone and dance the night away...alas state laws and morality always get the better of me!

Do you guys have an email list for notification of upcoming events?

If so please add me marcomfemail-salsa@yahoo.com

You all were great at Festival of the Sun! You should do a short bio on ALL the band members for the fans! Thanks!

The the members of Ritmo,

My wife and I saw you at the taping of WKAR's Backstage Pass last night (June 20, 2009). We thoroughly enjoyed your performance.

By the way...Regarding the question you asked the audience: "Why do we enjoy your music so much even though we don't know the language of the lyrics?"

Your orquesta is an ensemble of sounds, including brass, percussion, strings AND vocals; each contributing a "voice" to the greater whole. Even though the meaning behind the vocals is unknown to us, the sounds of the vocals are as significant as the other "instruments".

We hope to see you at the Festival of the Sun later this month.

Sincerely, Eric and Cheryl

(you have inspired me to pick up la guitarra again and even experiment with the Cuban Tres) hasta luego from a fellow Cubano, Eugenio (Gene) & Heidi Fernandez gene@genefernandez.com Fontana, California

Enjoyed seeing you play with your son's band on the Caribbean Princess last week. Let me know if you hear anything about that cutie Lindsay in her quest for fame in Nashville.
