Wish I was enjoying your music at the Christian Academy tonight. Your great music almost makes me want to leave my 8 and 5 year old at home alone and dance the night away...alas state laws and morality always get the better of me!

Do you guys have an email list for notification of upcoming events?

If so please add me marcomfemail-salsa@yahoo.com

You all were great at Festival of the Sun! You should do a short bio on ALL the band members for the fans! Thanks!

Hi anonymous, as per your advice, there is a bio page now on the webpage with info on most of the musicians. Thank you for your interest.

The the members of Ritmo,

My wife and I saw you at the taping of WKAR's Backstage Pass last night (June 20, 2009). We thoroughly enjoyed your performance.

By the way...Regarding the question you asked the audience: "Why do we enjoy your music so much even though we don't know the language of the lyrics?"

Your orquesta is an ensemble of sounds, including brass, percussion, strings AND vocals; each contributing a "voice" to the greater whole. Even though the meaning behind the vocals is unknown to us, the sounds of the vocals are as significant as the other "instruments".

We hope to see you at the Festival of the Sun later this month.

Sincerely,
Eric and Cheryl

Hola Mike - miss seeing & experiencing the magic of Ritmo live since moving from Lansing to SoCal. Would love to see your fabulous salsa orquesta get a gig out here in Los Angeles !! (you have inspired me to pick up la guitarra again and even experiment with the Cuban Tres)

Enjoyed seeing you play with your son's band on the Caribbean Princess last week. Let me know if you hear anything about that cutie Lindsay in her quest for fame in Nashville.

You guys are AWESOME! I've been infuential in either hiring you for an event or STRONGLY suggesting it and I will time and time again. You never disappoint.
For our corporate award event last night . . . attendees thought it was a CD before they actually saw you play. Hope to see you again in Grand Rapids!
